The 543 was an under 80" submersible rear lighting kit for small trailers. The kit provided all rear legal lighting and reflectors for trailers under 80" wide. The Kit Included one each of Peterson's low-profile 451/451L tail light, 25' trailer harness, 48" trunk connector, license bracket, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. The kit did not include the required front side marker lights or side reflectors necessary to make trailers meet all dot requirements. Other part numbers given to these lights included the V451, E451, M451, V451L, E451L, M451L and the kit V453. These lights were discontinued sometime after 2003.The more popular V540 Trailer light kit replaced the 543 after discontinuation.
