M840 & M840L Piranha LED Under 80" Wide Combination Tail Light
SPECIFICATIONS This is the updated version of the M840 and M840L (aka V840 & V840L) combination LED stop, turn and tail light.
Some important things to note about this new style are:The former version of this light was 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and the width (from the back of the light to the front ) of the light was 2". This new version is 5.04" x 4.72" and the width is 3.07".The 840 and 840L still feature a solid state construction that is sealed, making this LED trailer light less likely to break or malfunction.As one of our Piranha LEDs, it includes a 100,000 hour rated life.These LEDs are submersible and there potted circuity protects against moisture, corrosion, and vibration.They have a lower amp draw than incandescent lights and are designed to directly replace the M440 & M440L series incandescent lights.These trailer lights include an integral, dedicated side marker diode and exceed all DOT rear lighting and reflex requirements for trailers less than 80" wide.
***NOTE*** Use caution when mounting these lights not to install them upside down!!!
Water can enter through the small vent hole on the bottom!
